Coming into Republic from the west, the very first thing you see is the spire of the historic Catholic church. Well known Western artist, Everett Russell, captures the essence of the town setting with this lovely painting. It is sponsored in memory of Ed and Helen Walter family. The Walter family were early pioneers in the area and Helen grew up in small white house in the foreground.
