Maybelle was sponsored in memory of Alex and Jessie Bremner by their families. Fred Bremner, a son, thought this resembled a horse that his mother used to ride in the fields with lunch for the family. The horse has both an Indian Blanket and a sheath of wheat to honor the family heritage. She was painted by Bette Largent
