These horses and their chariot are pictured in Fred Fried's "A Pictorial History of the Carousel" on page 166 and the title page. The inside chariot horse has a particularly fine, hand carved head, unique on the carousel. All horses, except for a few fourth row examples, have individual trapping designs.
